Teravista schools are located in both Round Rock and Georgetown Independent School Districts (ISD). The southern part of Teravista is mainly Round Rock ISD; the northern part of Teravista is mostly Georgetown ISD.
Teravista Elementary Schools
Both elementary schools for Teravista are located within the community. Many parents love this and think it’s a huge bonus on the convenience scale.
Teravista Elementary is located in the Round Rock ISD. It ranks better than almost 86% of elementary schools in Texas. In 2020, there were approximately 849 students in attendance, with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. Fall 2021 in-person classes started August 18th. Enrollment is open to become a Teravista Tiger! Documentation you’ll need for enrollment is a student’s certified birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residence within the school district boundaries. Teravista Middle Schools
Hopewell Middle School, home of the Hornets, is located south of the Teravista neighborhood at 1535 Gulf Way. It ranks better than almost 63% of middle schools in Texas. Its highest ranking came in at 88% in 2017. There are approximately 1,239 students in attendance, with a student-teacher ratio of 14.6 to 1. James Tippit Middle School is for children living in the Georgetown ISD section of Teravista. Their rankings leave a little bit to be desired, coming in at almost 35% of middle schools in Texas. George Wagner Middle School is another middle school for kids located in the Georgetown ISD, northern side of Teravista. Being a newer school, its rankings are still in the works, coming in at 28% for 2021. There are approximately 853 students in attendance, with a student-teacher ratio of 14.9 to 1. Teravista High Schools
Stony Point High School is located at 1801 Tiger Trail, and their mascot is appropriately named the Stony Point Tigers. This high school ranks better than 64.5% of high schools in Texas. There are approximately 2,666 students in attendance, with a student-teacher ratio of 15.9 to 1. Their newsletter, Eye of the Tiger, has helpful, up-to-date information.
Stony Point High School has been an International Baccalaureate school (IB School) since 2008. The IB Diploma Programme is academically challenging. It prepares 11th & 12th graders for college success.
Homes located on the northern side of Teravista, within the Georgetown ISD, are associated with East View High School. It ranks better than 36.5% of high schools in Texas. There are approximately 1,761 students in attendance, with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
