Google ‘Sports Capital of Texas’ and Round Rock is all that you’ll find. From indoor sport courts, to outdoor soccer fields, to home of a minor league baseball team, this small town has made a mark for itself on the map!

So many sports events are held in Round Rock, and as the years pass, the list keeps growing. From UIL State Baseball Championship to US Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate National Championship to Texas Tennis Sectionals, people go to Round Rock to compete. The Round Rock Sports Center

From basketball to volleyball to table tennis to judo, the flexibility of this 82,800 square feet space is astounding. Its impressive how clean and well-kept this sports center is, and the layout and space functionality is top notch.

Outside of holding competitions, the facility also holds training programs for youth. Experienced coaching staff teach and train youth of all ages and skill levels. Whether your child’s interests are basketball, volleyball, or just strength and conditioning, there is something for everyone!

And need something for your kiddos to do during the summer? The Round Rock Sports Center also holds summer camps. They offer camps for Volleyball, Basketball, Golf, and backyard sports. The camps accommodate all ages and various skill levels.

The Round Rock Multipurpose Complex

With four natural grass multipurpose fields, one natural grass championship field, four synthetic turf multipurpose fields, and one synthetic turf championship field, this complex is attractive to a variety of sports. It handles just about anything from Soccer to Lacrosse, Rugby, Football, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Just like the Sports Center, this complex also offers sport camps but everything is outdoors. It also offers skill development training and even Bubble Soccer. This complex hosts local, regional and national tournaments throughout the year. The fields are beautiful and very well kept!

Old Settlers Park

For the baseball enthusiast, there’s a twenty field  baseball complex, a five field softball complex, and 18 batting cages. Most of the baseball fields have lighting. For the tennis lover, there are 12 lit hardcourts, resurfaced in 2021. Our mixed doubles team just played the Texas Tennis Sectionals here and the courts were great. For soccer players, there are 7 soccer fields. Our 5 year old played his first season with the Youth Soccer on the Old Settlers fields and had a fantastic time. Other recreational sports that many enjoy in Old Settlers Park are fishing, cricket, football, sand volleyball, and an 18 hole professionally designed disc golf course.  For the avid walker and trail runner, there are about 3.3 miles of paved trail in the park. And if you prefer to sit and watch the birds and ducks, there are 40 picnic areas and 7 playgrounds for the little ones.

Dell Diamond

Round Rock solidifies their claim as The Sports Capital of Texas with the Dell Diamond. This baseball stadium brings spectators from all over to watch ‘America’s Greatest Pastime’.  The Round Rock Express is a triple A baseball team. The stadium holds a little over 8,700 seats plus outfield lawn seating for general admission; suites are also available. Go out and enjoy funnel cakes and cotton candy while watching a good game and fireworks!
